    Mace, or gun?

Alright, I'm thinking of train hopping in the near future. I already have two small three inch knives since I know anything over that in most states is illegal. I would like more protection though not that I'd need to use it but I would think a small hand gun would get me out of any predicament...

    Concealed or open carry knives?

So in a majority of states, open carrying a fixed single sided sheathed knife is legal for out door purposes, but is that a good idea? I've always kept mine in my bag out of fear of pigs deciding to mess with me or not getting rides because the driver sees a knife. Thoughts? Experiences?

    Lock picking

Hey all! Sorry if this is the wrong section. Assumed this would go under tools. I recently decided to learn the skill of lock picking and have been thinking about the uses of it. Aside from the obvious usage of popping squats, you can pick locks on dumpsters as well. While their are many other...

    Tazers on the road?

I was looking at the knives on the road thread and thought, would carrying around a small handheld tazer be efficient? I'm not worried about anything happening to me, as I am tall and of a medium build. I'm just thinking worst case scenario. I know a knife is a very versatile tool regardless...

    Collapsable walking stick

Does anyone have any info/suggestions/experience in making a folding/collapsable walking stick/staff? I was thinking of maybe getting a nice wood stick and cutting it into 3 or 4 pieces and using metal threading to re-attach them for a more portable stick. Think it would hold up?

    Weapons of (upper) class destruction

So I was wondering. If you could have any weapon you can hold in your hand(s) (excluded: nuclear football, civil war cannons and gatling guns and guns that are only really seen in funny video games and cartoons), what would you take? Consider this, because one day, you may have to choose. Pick a...
