Where the hell does everyone get all these cool skulls, bones? Many of us punks like to use bones in jewelry, or just in our art. Go searching. Train Tracks are the best place to find animal bones and dead animals. Look on stretches of tracks that are isolated, wooded and running through alot of...
I've been searching for inspiration for a logo next to the ACAB, for my ACAB DIY patch. I was thinking a pair of handcuffs with a pig tail. Also heard about bacon strips with a badge, but that sounds super hard to stencil... Any ideas?
Yo so if you guys ever have any worn out long johns you can make a badass neck gaiter/headband out of them.
The thing I got on in my profile pic is made of some really old merino wool leggings with a blown out crotch/knees. I just cut them about a foot from the waistband so they look like booty...
So recently bought a pair of the old-fashioned one piece red red long undies with the ass flap. These ones are cotton wool blend. Inside layer is 100% cotton. Outside layer is 80% cotton 20% wool. Ass flap though is a vertical slit and not an actual flap. Works well. Open, squat and it stays...
Hi!
Unfortunately my Van slip ons I wore at my last trip fell apart to the point they became unwearable (fabric ripped at the sides so that I slip out). I have a pair of almost new Chucks but they give me blisters when I walk in them for more than just half an hour or so. I'm wearing flip-flops...
So I love boots. Love 'em to bits. Haven't worn anything but boots for over a decade now ('cept when I take the dog around the block or something). I have so many pairs, but I only wore one for the two years I was hitching around Europe. I decided to make a vid just to show how impressively done...
Hi!
Do you prefer used clothing over new clothing? I do. It's strange, since the first time I bought used clothes was only two weeks ago. Went to an army store to get some army pants (BDU style) and the only ones available i liked were used. So I bought one. Was there a few times...
Inspired from the thread further down on this page (https://squattheplanet.com/threads/homemade-sandals-cheap-and-easy.19780/), I decided to try to make some sandals out of materials i could find in every dumpster in the simplest manner possible.
Here's my alternate take on that thread...
1lb of paraffin wax and and 3/4 lb. of beeswax melted them together over low heat..
Apply with rough brush and blow dry into the fabric!
There are a lot of diy recipes for making this kind of water proofing wax .
I saw some recent posts on how to slicky some boots/shoes whatever. The day may come when there are no stores to steal from and you'll need to make your own. May not be as nice as some footwear made for profit, but it is a good thing to be self reliant...
You can wrap them plenty of ways, depending on whether you want to be mistaken for a wannabe ninja:
Or a terrorist/ninja turtle:
A shemagh (pronounced "shmag") is a style of headwrap that originated in the Middle East. It's especially well suited to arid climates because it keeps you cool...
I'm going to the Andes and Amazon of South America for the summer, where weather ranges from -5 to +32 C depending. Mostly I've just traveled in North America and exclusively tropical places before.
What can you recommend as far as pants go? I need something that will help me avoid mosquito...
So I've got a nice pair of timberlands, red leather. I want to polish them up, not so much for the shine but to protect the leather and keep them waterproof. What's the best option? I've got a lot of experience polishing combats but never a work style boot. Do they make a good "red" polish or...
I bought these boots on sale in like new condition for $45. I've been in boots for years, and these are by far the best boots I've owned....then again I don't ever splurge on them either so I guess I should say that these are the best boots around for under $100.
-Extremely lightweight for a...
I've been looking at some all-leather logging boots, some with steel toe at various sporting goods stores and a couple places like Sears.

Does anyone have any experience with surplus jungle boots for summertime freight adventures. I used tennis shoes last summer for about a week and I need something a little more durable.
Something like these:
