Anyone in the Slab City area right now? I saw some news related to an earthquake swarm under the Salton sea and just wanted to make sure everyone was alright and hear about the experience.

So, last year we took a last minute trip out to the Glamis Sand dunes right at sunset which was pretty cool, although I do wish we had more time to hang out there before it got dark. This year I'm thinking we could center the jambo around doing some exploring of the local area during the day...

does anyone have any info on traveling/squatting the various towns around the Salton Sea of Southern Cal? most people i ask have no idea what i'm talking about..my hopes are there is some savy SoCal that can offer some insight..peace
